Dexter B. Warrior
Dexter recently joined T. Dallas Smith & Company to assist with expanding its platform in providing quality tenant representation service to its clients. Dexter began working in the commercial real estate industry in 1981 as an intern, having secured a law firm as his first office lease transaction in 1984.
Dexter has over 25 years experience in supporting institutional clients achieve their real estate investing objectives. Now bringing his skills to bear as an advocate for Tenants and Buyers, most of Dexter's professional experience has been as an Asset Manager, Assistant Portfolio Manager, and Portfolio Manager having worked with Equitable Real Estate, Lend Lease, and Morgan Stanley. He has extensive expertise servicing world-class pension fund clients which include: State Board of Administration of Florida, California Public Employees Retirement System, California State Teachers Retirement System, New York State Teachers Retirement System, Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association, Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund, IBM, and Verizon. Dexter has experience with a variety of property types, with a combined asset value exceeding $10 billion, including: office - urban and suburban; retail - regional malls, power, lifestyle, and neighborhood centers; luxury high-rise and garden apartment communities; luxury resort hotels; industrial; and senior living - assisted living and skilled nursing facilities. He has worked with clients on investments in many major markets across the country including: Washington DC, New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Raleigh, Atlanta, Boca Raton, Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
Dexter is a current member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and former member of National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries, BOMA, and CCIM Institute. Dexter is actively involved in the community where he currently serves as Chair of Leadership Atlanta's Board of Trustees, Chairs the Real Estate Committee for the Georgia State University Foundation Board, and is an active member of his church.
